“ EXTREMELY tasty meal! The pho was out of this world, very delicious and rich broth with a a ton of flavor. Everything we ordered was amazing and the menu is so extensive! We had a ton of trouble picking out what we wanted but every item was delicious. We’d absolutely come here again - 10/10 one of the best Asian meals I’ve had in a long time. Pricing was not bad and portions were hearty too. ”
“ Great food and presentation. Will definitely be making this one of my staple restaurants for really great vegetarian food and viet food in general! Our servers were so sweet and the food came out super quick. We ordered the crispy fried noodles, sweet and sour soup, pad thai, and clay pot for entrees and jasmine green tea for drinks - ALL of them were bangers ”
“ When entering Chay, I was struck by the lovely painted murals of water lilies. This was our first time trying this restaurant. The menu is extensive and we didn’t know where to start so I simply ordered some of my favorites but in a vegetarian version. Chay did not disappoint. The dishes are fresh and flavorful. The crispy fish didn’t have the texture of fish but was oddly satisfying and enjoyable to eat! ”
“ I’ve always been a fan of Vietnamese food and wanted to put my vegetarian parents on. This was the perfect spot! The appetizers were on point. Comparing to the meat dishes I’ve had, the vegan pho and bun bo hue had such deep flavors. Honestly preferred it to meat dishes since everything felt lighter and healthier. All the servers were so kind and the owner was very inviting and sweet. Will def be coming back :) ”
“ What can I say, I’m a meat eater that totally forgot the existence of meat while trying out Chay - I was just so absorbed in all the flavor and fresh ingredients and texture of everything. This whole restaurant is a vibe, from the light airy wholesome atmosphere, to the amazing depth of flavorful food, to the extremely present and attentive staff. I honestly wanted the entire menu, it was really hard to choose, but at the same time, you can just choose with your eyes closed bc whatever you get is going to be good. Pleasantly surprised how much I thought “maybe I could try this vegetarian thing out” after eating here! ”
“ Ate here for the first time today and can’t wait to come back. My favorite Vietnamese dish is a vermicelli bowl with crispy spring rolls and they do it up right. Huge portion and it will make two meals. Fantastic flavors, vegan, and you won’t miss the fish sauce. Charming decor and very attentive waitstaff. I stayed an extra 15 minutes just to finish my lovely pot of jasmine tea. Five huge stars! ”
“ No matter what your diet is, make sure you eat here! I have missed a quality place like this to enjoy a lovely meal and reduce my meat intake. We had the vegan shrimp, which was honestly better than actual shrimp at other places. The fake beef vermicelli rice bowl was fresh, vibrant, and delicious. But favorite was the Thai basil chicken. This dish was everything I wanted and more, with perfectly cooked protein and veggies. And the value is so rare these days, great prices for big dishes! We cannot wait to come back and try everything on the menu!!! ”
“ It was my first visit to Chay and it didn’t disappoint. We picked out several dishes to share along with some recommendations from the owner: A9-Vegan clam dip - one of my fave dishes and tasted like the non vegan alternative A12 - fresh summer rolls Nem Nuong rolls- this was really good! Tasted similar to the famous ones at Nga Trang in Eden R3- Heavenly fried rice - very flavorful N10- Crispy Fried noodles N16- Vegan Crab Soup - it was good but I still prefer the non-vegan version M1- Shaky beef - still amazed at how the texture and taste was very similar to the non vegan version. This was more than enough food for 4 ppl. The staff and owner is especially friendly and the restaurant is so clean! It was packed when we arrived at 5:30 on Saturday but we were seated in 15 min. My other favorite part is the homemade hot sauce at the table. It was spicy but so good! Def want to come back and take my family. ”
